It's been a long time....

It's been a long time since that first post in February. I hope you all remember when I clearly stated, "We'll have to see how it goes, but don't expect too much right away", when refering to my lack of time to keep this thing current! We've been very busy lately and four months sure goes by fast. There's been a lot of changes in Grant as you can imagine. I'll do my best to get you caught up in a hurry over then next few days and then try to be more timely with more regular updates. We're starting where we left off back at the end of February. Enjoy.

At some point when he's older, I'm sure he'll realize this, but for now he's just enjoying the the love from his kind big sister.

He didn't seem as happy about it as we all were, but on April 20th as he was almost 5 months old, Grant finally mastered rolling over.

My First Post

I never thought that I'd have the know how, let alone the time to have a blog. I'm not saying that I have much of either right now, but I do officially have a blog set up and I'm currently doing my first entry, so.....so far so good. We'll have to see how it goes, but don't expect too much right away.

I just wanted to find a convenient place where we could upload pictures, videos and notes to keep family and friends updated with some of the various events in our life. I didn't want you to have to set up an account or be required to log in just to see whats going on. So this seemed like a pretty easy way to go.

"Baby Girl" obviously refers to Ella as that has been our term of endearment for her since day one, and "Boo" is for our newest addition, Grant.

So why the nickname Boo you ask? I'm not sure why it has stuck as long as it has, but it is definitely sticking. Denise first called him BooBoo. Not boo like we're trying to scare him and not boo boo like this was a mistake (that is absolutely not the case, especially if knew how long it took for him to finally arrive), but maybe Boo Boo like Yogi and BooBoo, because he was just so cute. Then it got shortened to just Boo and that's what we lovingly call him most of the time now. Just like his big sister, he's been a blessing to us even before he took his first breath...

Born on 11.25.2008 he's now closing in on 3 months old already. Here's a flashback to the day of his birth...

Well, all things considered, this blogging thing isn't so difficult (due in large part to some very talented computer programmers that make it nearly impossible for me to mess it up, and very little to do with any of my talents).
